1983 - Graphics – Arts Faculty, St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo
1988-1989 - a six-month intensive course in English at the Institute for foreign students

WORK EXPERIENCE
1983-1986 - a free-lance artist.
1986 – full-time assistant professor in Theory and Methodology of Pictorial Activity at the Faculty of Education of St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo.
1997 – an associate professor – code 05.07.03. (Methodology of Teaching Pictorial Art).
2006 - Doctor of Education studies. Topic of dissertation: The Integrative Role of Pictorial Art in the Intellectual Development of Pre-school Children.
12.04.2007 - after a motion by the Specialized Scholarly Council in Education, the Education board of the Superior Testimonial Committee elected him Professor of Methodology of Pictorial Art.

MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY
Managerial positions:

1990-1995 - Chairman of the Trade union of the Faculty of Education
Member of the Academic Council of St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo since 1991.
1995-1999 Vice-Dean in charge of Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Education
1999 - Dean of the Faculty of Education.
2001-2003 – Head of the Department of Historical and Practical Theology at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology
2003 – Dean of the Faculty of Education – second term.
17 May 2007 – Rector of St Cyril and St Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo.
