Let us Speak Bulgarian is the first part of the most successful textbook of Bulgarian as a foreign language. Through the years, more than 5000 people have learned Bulgarian by this system of textbooks - in the Summer Seminar for Bulgarian Language in Veliko Tarnovo, numerous courses and language schools.

The language competence, achieved by using this textbook could correspond to level A1 if the basic lexical and grammar units are learned, or A2 if the material is fully mastered.

There are 14 themes in the textbook, covering different human activities. There is also specific information about Bulgarian culture and way of life: festives, food, drinks, working time, relationship and behaviour, gifts, punctuality etc.

Bulgarian for Foreigners - Part One comes with 2 audio CD's, on which the whole lexis together with chosen training texts are recorded, and a dictionary which contains all the words and  idioms from the textbook together with their correspondings in English, French, German and Russian
